Oktoberfest is over! For others: over for a month or so, ’til they get started with planning & organizing again. For me: over FOREVER! It’s a fun event—go to it, have fun, spend money—but I’m DONE.

Work is good, actually. I’m editing a really interesting book, an autobiography by an older woman (the mother-in-law of an acquaintance of mine), and it’s just fascinating! And what was a big-time rush became a leisurely project when they decided that the published, bound book would make a better Christmas (late December) present than anniversary (mid-October) gift.

Money is still very tight, but Rich has gotten some (actually, quite a bit of) work. So that’s getting better. We had some excitement over the weekend, which I’ll write about in detail later (just a small fire). But for right now, things are good.

Not complaining!
