I’m not even going to apologize for being absent for so long, nor say I’ll do better. You’ve heard it before. Moving on\u2026<\/p>\n

I’m going to go ahead and call today a complete write-off.\u00a0I shower at night, so I’m clean, and I did<\/strong> brush my teeth this morning. I put on clothes when I got up. (I really don’t like hanging around in my pajamas.) But as for washing my face, putting on makeup, going, you know, outside<\/em> or anything like that\u2014uh, nope.<\/p>\n

As for what I’ve done, well. Let’s compare it to the list of what I had planned to do:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Sew: cut out the print top<\/td>\nI just don’t see it happening today<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Finish the dogs’ car seats<\/td>\nNuh-uh.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Dump the MBR litter box<\/td>\nTomorrow. I’ll just add more litter tonight.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Sanitize the Dobie sponge*<\/td>\nNuh-uh<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Add water to the pool<\/td>\nNope, though it’s better to do it when it’s not so hot anyway. That’s my story.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Buy a cheap curling iron<\/td>\nMeh. I’m getting my hair cut Tuesday anyway.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Buy the cat food I forgot yesterday\u00a0when I was<\/em> at <\/em><\/strong>Petsmart<\/em><\/td>\nWe’ve got enough for today and tomorrow morning.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\u00a0Work out<\/td>\n\u00a0HAA Hahahaha!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

*Hey, I’m sensitive to that dirty dishwater smell, and I found a method that actually works.**<\/small><\/em>
\n **1\/4 cup of bleach in 5 cups of water. Soak for 5 minutes. Amazing! It smells\u00a0completely clean.<\/small><\/em><\/p>\n

Updated my Gift Registry list to include CDs with songs I can’t get on iTunes<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Ordered gifts for some of the other fall birthdays for the upcoming Fall Birthday Bash<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Wrote niece a harassing email, reminding her to update her gift list<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Looked up the no-soak bean cooking method<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Started beans cooking for dinner. Warned Rich that I might not know what I’m doing and we could end up at Chipotle.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Checked Facebook a few times<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Checked Twitter & didn’t know what the first three tweets on my feed were referring to; left.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\u00a0Looked at the clock and said, “Oh, my gosh! It’s 11:00!”<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\u00a0Looked at the clock and said, “Oh, my gosh! It’s 12:30!”<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\u00a0Looked at the clock and said, “Oh, my gosh! It’s 2:00!”<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\u00a0Looked at the clock and said, “Oh, my gosh! It’s almost 4:00!”<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\u00a0Wrote a new blog post.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Yeah, that about sums it up.<\/p>\n

So I think I’ll just give up and go knit (which means I might\u2014hey!\u2014finish the Hitchhiker scarf that’s been on my To Do list for weeks).<\/p>\n
