Sadly, it’s been a lot more abandoning than reading so far.<\/p>\n
Unleashed<\/em> is a miss. I hung in there for about 2\/3 of the book because the mystery was well done (even though the main character was distinctly unlikeable, and the fact that, despite the dog on the cover, it really didn’t have much to do with animals). But then I gave up.<\/p>\n So far, honestly, the only ones I can say wholeheartedly that I like are Maisy Dobbs<\/a><\/em> (though I’ve only read a sample of that so far) and the Housewife Assassin’s Handbook<\/a><\/em>. I thought Take the Monkeys and Run<\/a><\/em> was going to be good, but it got bogged down in how much she loves her ex. Spare me!<\/p>\n I’ll get more info later, but for the moment, stick to Miss Fisher & Corinna Chapman.
